Double Torsion Springs
Double torsion springs with matched left-hand and right-hand coils joined by a central loop.
A double torsion spring has one left-hand and one right-hand coil body, connected by a U-shaped loop in the middle. The load is shared evenly by both sides, giving more torque than a single torsion spring in a balanced, compact form.
They replace a pair of separate torsion springs with one part that is easier to fit.
